Synopsis
Hui-Mei is a sixth grader who desires to go on a graduation trip. Unfortunately, her family's economic situation doesn't allow her. She has no parents, lives with an extremely strict grandma, and a communication disordered brother. Due to the poverty, Hui-Mei collects plastic bottles for a living. One day, Hui-Mei accidentally finds NT$4,200 in her classroom. Now she is able to go on the graduation trip, but the guiltiness fills up her heart.

Directors Biography
Hung Po-Hao was born in 1978 in Taichung County, Taiwan. He has been assistant director in many feature films in Taiwan, such as Starry Starry Night, Seedip Bale, Au Revoir Taipei, etc. He is recently selected as a member of the 3rd Golden Horse Academy led by Director Hou Hsiao Hsien. My Graduation Travel is his first short film as a director.
