Synopsis
After a long period of work in Germany – Emil, a young man, comes back to his girlfriend living in Poland so that they can enjoy their life together. His long journey home brings a number of sad and unexpected incidents. The story is based on real life events.

Directors Biography
Bart³omiej ¯muda was born in 1981 in Nysa, Poland. After graduating from the faculty of theology in Warsaw and a two year film school in Wroclaw he was involved in making music videos for British music bands (DJ Vadim, Buen Chico, Unsigned Artists). Since 2007 he’s a student of the faculty of film directing at the Polish National Film, Television and Theater School in Lodz. The Barbican is his first film.
