Screenwriter's Workshop PALUNKO 10

Same as Zagreb Film Festival – Palunko Workshop is celebrating its anniversary this year! Created on the basis of scriptwriter and dramaturge Irena Krčelić's idea way back in 2003, it has lived to see its tenth anniversary. In the meantime, it has had more than 100 attendants and bosts as many as six films that have come into being and one Golden Pram award won in Checkers Program 2009.

Twelve new attendants, selected after a public competition, will be working hard in the smaller auditorium of Cinema Tuškanac, developing their synopses into scripts under the guidance of three experienced and verified Croatian scriptwriters: Dalibor Matanić, Danilo Šerbedžija and Tomislav Zajec.

The best script will win its author an attractive award: his or her film will be produced by Croatian Film Association and will premiere at the 11^th Zagreb Film Festival next year. This year we will have a chance to see the premiere of Delivery, a film directed by Hani Domazet on the basis of the awarded script by Martina Beus, the winner of Palunko Workshop 2010.

Palunko is a project of Croatian Film Association aiming at promotion of film scriptwriting through scriptwriting workshops, competitions, meetings and various events. Also, in the past year and a half, the project can be found on Palunko.org web page, the first Croatian portal specialized for scriptwriting issues.
