Synopsis
Marius is a divorced man in his late thirties. His five year-old daughter Sofia lives with her mother, which causes Marius a deep frustration. On the day Marius arrives to take his daughter on their annual holiday, he is told that she is ill but he doesn't believe it and insists to take her with him. The situation soon gets out of control with all the family taking part in a web of humor, violence, child songs, police interventions and love statements.

Directors Biography
Radu Jude was born in 1977 in Bucharest and he graduated from the University Media - Department of Film Directing. He worked as assistant director for feature films such as Amen, directed by Costa Gavras and Death of Mr. Lazarescu, directed by Cristi Puiu. His feature film debut, The Happiest Girl in the World (screened and awarded with Special mention at 2011 Zagreb Film Festival) won the Berlinale Forum CICAE Award in 2009, the FIPRESCI prize at Sofia IFF and IFF IndieLisboa, the Golden Tower Award at European Palic IFF and the Cine-Ecole Award –ACID Program Cannes. Everybody in Our Family is Jude's second feature film.
