The screenings of Dutch film Taking Chances and the film Apparitions made at Bib for Kids Workshop marked the finale of Bib for Kids, children's favorite program of Zagreb Film Festival.
More than three thousand children saw the films of this year's Bib for Kids program in two venues – Cinema Europa and Museum of Contemporary Art.
Bib for Kids program included four feature-length films and four short films, including Antonio Nuiæ's As Seen on TV – the film that had its premiere before Bib for Kids audience.
More than 500 children saw the films shown at the Museum of Contemporary Art. This record-breaking figure indicates that children and their parents recognized the Museum as one of Bib for Kids locations.
For the first time, the Bib for Kids Creative Workshop was organized as part of this program. Eight children from four Zagreb elementary schools took part in the workshop. They had an opportunity to work on a real film project under mentorship of Jure Troje, teacher of Media Culture in Ivan Goran Kovaèiæ Elementary School. The result of the workshop is Apparitions, a short horror film that you can see here.
The competition Why I Love Bib for Kids was also organized. It resulted in five excellent visual, photo and video works.
Best regards till the seventh Bib for Kids!
